Growth Marketer

We're looking for a Growth Marketer to help drive customer acquisition, activation, and performance across our DTC channels for a smart basketball product sold through Spalding.com and Amazon. The product includes an annual app subscription, and we’re looking for someone who can improve conversion flows, lower CAC, and increase LTV through landing page strategy, campaign testing, and full-funnel optimization.

Core Responsibilities

Growth & Performance Marketing

  • Experience driving DTC growth — especially through paid media, landing page optimization, and full-funnel testing.

  • Skilled at building and iterating on landing pages to drive traffic, conversions, and first purchase activation.

  • Comfortable with CAC, LTV, and ROAS — and knows how to improve them through smart, data-informed experiments.

Paid Media Strategy

  • Experience managing campaigns across Meta, Google, Amazon, YouTube, and other key platforms.

  • Can allocate budgets effectively by channel and funnel stage.

  • Analyzes creative performance and refreshes assets based on insights.

Conversion Rate Optimization & Testing

  • Skilled at running A/B and multivariate tests across ads, emails, landing pages, and lifecycle flows.

  • Can diagnose where users drop off and propose meaningful experiments to boost performance.

  • Familiar with testing frameworks and performance tracking tools.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Able to build or maintain dashboards to track KPIs and growth trends.

  • Experienced in analyzing cohorts, conversion data, and campaign ROI.

  • Brings a curiosity and problem-solving mindset to performance analysis.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, product, and data teams.

  • Brings a test-and-learn mindset, with a bias toward execution and measurable results.

  • Organized communicator who can manage timelines and drive projects forward.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with subscription or retention marketing (e.g., onboarding, winbacks, churn reduction).

  • Familiarity with behavioral segmentation or LTV-based targeting.

  • Background working with app-connected products, including driving downloads, onboarding, or in-app engagement.

  • Understanding of how to connect ecommerce flows (e.g., Spalding.com) to branded landing pages and owned sales funnels.
